The Cardinal Chorale, led by conductor Charles R. Snyder of Coshocton, will be returning to Epiphany for a concert on Thursday, December 29, at 7:00 p.m. The program will include songs from their summer workshop at Muskingum University and their June tour of northeastern Ohio.
Founded in the summer of 1995 by Mr. Snyder, the Cardinal Chorale was organized to provide challenging and enriching musical opportunities for high school and early collegiate students.
Since its inception, the Chorale has sung for four Ohio Music Education Association’s professional conferences, as well as the rededication of the Statehouse and three gubernatorial inaugurations. The Chorale has taken its music to several college campuses including Penn State University (where they sang with former members of Fred Waring’s Pennsylvanians). The Chorale also delighted audiences on a 1998 summer concert tour of England, Wales, and France.
While this concert does not feature Christmas music, it does reflect God’s gift of music as we celebrate the greatest Gift of the season. No tickets are required, but an offering will be received to defray concert expenses and continue the mission of the Chorale.
