The Cardinal Chorale had a busy day yesterday as we hit the half way point of our tour. We started off our day by having some amazing breakfast with our host families! The Chorale then met back up at the church and had another breakfast waiting for us that was made by the church. Then we all circled up and loaded the bus with our new partners of the day.
The Chorale had such a cool opportunity and was able to visit the Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop and museum. We learned so much about the history of the Wright brothers and gained a new appreciation for some of our Ohio history. We then gathered together on the bus and headed to lunch.
At our stop we had so many lunch options including Arby’s, Chipotle, Taco Bell, Waffle House and so much more. After lunch we all hopped back onto the bus and headed to Bucyrus for our concert, or so we thought!
The Chorale had a surprise stop at a church in Bucyrus to sing for a friend of the chorale by the name of Father Weible. He used to preach at the church in Fostoria where the Chorale sang for years. Then we were on our way to the church in Bucyrus.
The Chorale had a very beneficial rehearsal and then headed to dinner. The church provided us with some amazing options such as chicken tenders, mac and cheese and so much more. Then it was time for our concert.
Collectively as a group we felt this was our best performance so far on tour, and Mr. Snyder said it was in the top three in Chorale history in terms of cohesive sound. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day in the Columbus area!
